Small house on the Ouessant’s Island, west part of Britany. Elin Jonsdottir is Icelandic, young reporter, she decided to live on this island. The architectural idea is to work with steel as the principal material, that we can reuse and recycle.

 

Two huge steel gantries are bearing the actual wood frame. It becomes the apparent frame of the hanging furniture, custom made. 

Linearity, verticality and sobriety are the strong lines of the project with the aims to enjoy a nice working s and cozy living space.
